birthday a la Paris

I'm meant to be writing my buying report, which i've nearly finished (thank god) but in some last minute procrastination i've started thinking about birthday plans. It's my 21st birthday in September, and i keep hinting to my boyfriend that i want to go away for a few days over it.

I went to Paris a fair few years ago and I've been craving to go back ever since (i'd like to live there at some point)- so i've been looking at deals. Normally, i go straight to lastminute.com or expedia but most of the time they come up so pricey!! Last night a friend mentioned airbnb and it's the best thing ever. You can type in whatever city you are wanting to travel to and it'll bring up a list of private apartments or rooms to rent, and they are so cheap!! I've fallen in love with this one...


I'd much rather stay in a French chic apartment than a hotel, it means you're experiencing Paris so much more. The only problem is, i probably won't want to leave. Ever.

    That looks like such a lovely apartment! Very chic! I think renting an apartment is much better than a hotel room, that's what I did when I went to Barcelona. You get much more space and it feels like you live there! Emma xx

      doesn't it just! apartments can sometimes work out cheaper than hotels as well, and you immerse yourself in the culture so much more.
      i love Barcelona! my boyfriend and i went last January to see the arctic monkeys, didn't think to get an apartment. saying that we went out of season so we could afford a really nice hotel :)
