SPREAD THE NEWS: & Other Stories

I can officially declare: I am in love. Today saw the launch of '& Other Stories', from the same people that brought us the beloved H&M and the ultra- cool COS. It has been over three years in the making, and the '& Other Stories' flagship UK Regent Street store opened it's doors today.

'& Other Stories' aims for the customer to build upon their individual personal style - bringing us pieces that don't necessarily follow trends, but pieces that will be at the forefront of our wardrobes for years and years to come. They are staple items, with sleek designs reminiscent of COS but with an edgy cool, reminiscent of H&M... meaning '& Other Stories' is effortlessly modern.

Forgetting mainstream, commercial trends, the brand revolves around four perennial tribes - or 'stories' - that the customer can shop from and mix -  that will evolve season to season bringing a breath of fresh air to the high street. Way too many brands follow trends like it's bible, but finally we are blessed with a store that are giving us styles that scream designer but in a high street store. The prices are very reasonable, and the store has a good mix of pricing, meaning that it's affordable for everyone. The higher priced pieces can be justified by the fact that they are staple, infinite pieces that won't go out of fashion like certain trends and are a good investment.

The store is a cacophony of ready to wear clothes, shoes to die for, amazing accessories and the most beautiful jewellery. I've really been struggling to find jewellery I like lately, and the '& Other Stories' jewellery collection is definitely pulling at my heartstrings (and my purse strings). There is also an extensive range of beauty products, with everything you could ever need from concealers, to foundations; to powders and bronzers; to primers; to body scrubs etc etc etc!!

Very rarely do i fall so in love with a new brand, whilst choosing the images i wanted to feature in this post i found it so difficult to just select a few items, i wanted to include everything. EVERYTHING. I'm dying to run down to Regent Street around pay day, experience the store and pick up some things, but i will probably give in to ordering some things online in the mean time.

I'm so glad that a brand like '& Other Stories' has appeared on the scene, it's just what I, personally, needed. I'm so bored of trends and seeing everyone wearing the same thing and '& Other Stories' allows us to build upon our own personal style with their unique, well designed and well valued clothing. I am very excited for what's to come from them.
